“How
Low can YOU go?”
|
Finals were held during the public session on Friday, April
16 (7-10 pm) at the SKATERY.
Forty had qualified to compete in this final event.
Champions of each final division were awarded a
certificate and a “Limbo Champion “T” shirt.
Winners were:
Tall: Gabby Yerger
Medium: Riley Shaffer
Short: Logan Hoffman
Those who had already won 2 or more
tournaments competed against each other to earn the title: “Super Limbo
Champion”. The winner of this division was Jacob Wise.
Any skater may compete in the eliminations, however,
to compete in the finals, one must qualify by winning in one of the
preliminary rounds. Skaters may compete each time they attend a public
session or private party.
The next series began in May, with finals on
Saturday, August 28 during the 7-10 pm session.

Skating) School is
in session!
Now that students have less scheduled, it’s time to
enroll in the SKATERY School of Roller Skating’s Summer Classes.
Whether a student is age
6 or 60, is a rank beginner or has a lot of skating experience, skating
classes prepare them to have more FUN when their church, scouts or school
schedules a skating party.
Beginning students learn the FUNdamentals, while
experienced skaters learn more advanced tricks, backward skating, rhythm
skating and more.
Click on “Class” on the left for
more information. You can also contact Mrs “M” at the SKATERY (570-SK8-1775)

GIRLS’ NITE OUT
Next one is tentatively
scheduled for April 2011.
Sign up to receive
e-mail notices about special events like this one as they’re scheduled!
Our last Girls Nite
Out was cancelled because there were too few registrations.
When we do an event like
this and supplies and food have to be ordered, we must have a deadline for
registrations. Those who just planned on coming without pre-registering
were terribly disappointed when they arrived!
